Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, why, and how to change it. The short version: a handful of first-party cookies, and nothing beyond the essentials until you have told us it is alright.

1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let a site remember something about your visit — a language preference, whether you are signed in — and they are widely used to make websites work properly.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, and under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR where they apply, we have to tell you what we store and ask your permission for anything that is not strictly necessary. Asking is what the banner on your first visit is for.
2. How we use cookies
We keep this to a minimum. juntos-solutions.com uses essential cookies, and — only if you allow it — two further cookies that let us count visits properly. We set no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies of any kind.
The site also makes no third-party requests. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain, so no advertising network and no analytics company sees your visit. One exception is unavoidable, and true of every website there is: the provider that hosts this site handles the traffic itself, and so sees the connection and the address it came from. Links to LinkedIn are ordinary links — nothing reaches LinkedIn unless you click one.
We have introduced analytics, as this policy said we would. It is our own: the counting is done by the same server that sends you these pages, and nothing is set until you turn the analytics switch on. Marketing cookies remain unused, and if we ever add any we will update this policy and ask you first.
Whether or not you allow analytics, our server keeps a plain count of the pages it sends: the page, the date and time, the sort of device, which site you arrived from, and roughly which part of the world you connected from. If you followed an ordinary link we also keep the address of the page it was on; if you arrived from a search engine we keep the name of the engine and never what you typed into it. Without your permission that entry carries no cookie, no IP address and no identifier of any kind, so there is no way to join one page view to the next.
3. Cookies we use

These are necessary for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to something you do — recording your privacy choice, closing a message, or signing in. The consent cookie itself is one of them: it is written only once you have made a choice, so nothing is stored on your device before then.

Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Ours are first-party: the counting is done by our own server, no other company is involved, and nothing is shared with advertising networks. They are set only if you turn analytics on.
With your permission we add the two cookies below. They let us join the pages of one visit together, and recognise the same browser if it comes back later, so we can see how far people read and whether they return. One holds a random number and the other a single character. Neither holds a name, an email address or an IP address, and neither is shared with anyone.

Marketing
Marketing cookies would be used to show you relevant content and to measure whether a campaign reached anyone. These are not currently in use.
No marketing cookies are set.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your mind whenever you like, and withdrawing permission is exactly as easy as giving it: open the panel from the footer of any page and press Reject all, which is the same single click as Accept all. Use the button below to open it now.
We will ask again after six months, or sooner if this policy changes in a way that affects the choice you made. Your answer is stored in a cookie on your own device, and the cookie holds no personal data. What we hold on our side is the page-view record described above: with your permission it carries a random visitor number, and without it nothing that identifies you at all.

5. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we introduce new cookies or change how we use the ones we have. The date at the top changes with it, and where a change materially affects permission you have already given, the consent banner is shown again so you can answer afresh.
